Video chat in the UK: fancy a chat with someone new?
Bored on a rainy evening and fancy a natter with someone new? La Ruleta Caliente is a free video chat you can use anywhere in the UK, straight from your browser. One click and you’re on webcam, one-to-one, with someone from Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, Belfast — or the other side of the world. It’s strictly for adults aged 18 and over.
Jump in free, no sign-up needed, and meet someone new in seconds.
Meet people across the UK or further afield
On the free plan you’re matched at random with whoever is online, wherever they are. That’s part of the charm: you never know whether you’ll get someone from the next town or someone halfway round the globe. If you’d rather stick closer to home, Premium adds a My country filter for people in the UK, a distance filter for those nearby and an age range. You can also choose to see women, men, trans people or couples.
Webcam chat that sorts out the small talk
If you find the first few seconds of a chat a bit cringe, you’re not alone. That’s why there are games during the call: Truth or dare, Would you rather?, Rock, paper, scissors and Draw & guess. There are icebreaker topics to send with a tap, and a Chemistry thermometer that warms up as you get on. Both fancy something a bit cheekier? Turn on Spicy mode 🌶️ — it only works when the other person has it on too.
Paying in pounds
The video chat itself costs nothing. Premium is priced in euros — €7.99 per week or €19.99 per month — and you can cancel whenever you like. Your bank converts the payment into pounds sterling, so the amount on your statement depends on the exchange rate and any foreign transaction fee your card charges. Prefer not to pay at all? Invite a mate: once they sign up with your link and have their first conversation of over a minute, you both get a day of Premium.
Chilis, streaks and Hot hour
Pop in every day to build a streak and collect chilis, our free points. You earn more by playing games, getting ❤️ reactions and completing weekly challenges. Every night from 10 to 11 pm Spanish time is Hot hour, when chilis count double, and the app shows a countdown so you won’t miss it. Spend them on superpowers or chase a spot in the weekly ranking: the top three on Monday win Premium. Full details on the games and powers page.
Keep it friendly, keep it safe
Your IP address is never shown to the other person, as video is routed through our server. Recording is forbidden, and calls carry an invisible watermark. If someone is out of order, press Report — a person on our team reviews it, and serious or repeated rule-breakers are banned. On your side, don’t give out your surname, postcode or workplace, and never send money to someone you’ve met on a video chat, whatever the story. Our safety advice explains how sextortion scams work and what to do.
